Customers rave about the coffee, particularly the cappuccino, which many claim is the best in town. The breakfast offerings also receive considerable praise; the full English breakfast is a must-try for its fresh ingredients and perfect cooking. I've heard frequent recommendations about their pizzas, especially the Chicken Feast, which is a crowd favorite. The family-friendly environment and accommodating staff enhance the experience, making it a place where everyone feels valued. The clean and well-maintained toilet facilities add to the overall comfort, an often-overlooked aspect appreciated by guests. Brunch on weekends often turns into a local gathering where friends and families enjoy great plates and each other's company, creating lasting memories.
Some visitors find the space a bit on the small side, leading to potential wait times, especially during peak hours, like Saturday lunchtimes. People have commented that certain dishes, such as the lasagne, don't always hit the mark, suggesting room for improvement. It's a popular spot, so if you're not an early riser, be prepared for busy tables and potential waiting times. Some patrons have expressed concern over the £1 charge for tap water with ice, feeling this isn’t in line with the overall friendly vibe. However, most agree that the quality of food and service more than compensates for these minor inconveniences. If dining with a larger group, making a reservation is essential due to limited seating, particularly during lunchtime rush hours.
Not the best food, but not the worst. The local is small and cozy, also atmosphere is really good. I had a lasagne, but I cannot say was very tasty, I heard pizza is really good, which I will try next time. Overall service is good, also refreshments.
I have been here many times and the food is always good, from breakfasts to lunch and dinner all cooked fresh and high quality, staff very pleasant and accommodating to an old lady with mobility problems, their steaks are cooked to perfection no matter how you like them and their pasta dishes are always delicious, I am not a fan of pizzas but couldn’t fault theirs. What more could I say, top quality food and staff I could take anyone and wouldn’t be let down.
This place is amazing. We don't live in Coventry but we visited twice in the last month and this is the only place we eat both times. Its very hard to get a table as its always busy. Staff are friendly and food is delicious.
My friend and I ordered the vegetarian and meat full English breakfast. They were delicious with everything prepared and cooked to perfection - with high quality ingredients. At 9.30am it was quiet, but by 10.30 it was pretty busy. Great service, too. Highly recommended. Returned in July. Again, the presentation, price and quality were excellent. The Chicken Supreme sandwich was a taste sensation. My partner wanted a glass of tap water with ice: they charge £1 for ice but, personally, I don't think that's a good business strategy
We were a group of 12 and this was one of the few places that could accommodate us and reserved our table as well. Staff were very polite, professional, well mannered and not pushy in trying to get us to order more than we needed. Food was made quickly, presented well, was hot and tasted delicious too. The lighting is a bit dim, but sufficient for the atmosphere I believe. Staff were also considerate and ensured all sauces, plates, cutlery etc were on the table before the food and they got a few extra plates for us as we had said that we would be sharing some of the dishes. Overall really impressed. Also, the toilet was clean and well maintained. I really loved the table as it looked like it was made from the truck of a tree! Keep up the good work.
I do really like this place, I've never been disappointed. The coffee probably my favourite in town, much nicer than the big chain brands. I ordered a pizza, it was amazing really fresh, full flavour. Staff are always friendly, very welcome, and happy to serve. The appeared clean and tidy. My only criticism of this place is the toilet, as it's 1 unisex w/c. But don't let that put you off as this place is full of charm.
Nice little Italian restaurant that serves awesome food that tastes very good. Must try. Good place to visit with family, and it's kid friendly. Good options are available from breakfast until dinner. Reasonable prices and portion sizes.
